For seventeen years I was an integral part of one of the largest accounting and audit practices in South Asia which had, over the years, developed an environment of the highest standards of ethics and professional excellence.

It was a daunting task to step out from such an environment and set up a practice in the then uncharted territory of the Arabian Gulf, where not just standards but also knowledge of accounting and best practices were evolving. With the support of some of the larger business groups and government institutions, I accepted the challenge readily.
